Small Stage; In One Act
The performance is based on real life events occurred in Georgia. The story develops in one of the Georgian villages where the religious clash had spread out between Christian and Muslim community – Christian inhabitants against Muslims. Peaceful residents face a freshly burst out religious conflict. Christians living in the village are against carrying out Islamic rituals while the Muslims defend their rights to pray. The whole village split. Religious intolerance, disrespectful attitude towards diverse religious traditions, and most importantly– ignorance seems to be the source of all the tragedy. Two young leading characters – angry birds unfortunately echo the tragic reality they live in. The hatred of their parents and the village logically finds a shelter inside them. They strive to destroy everything around just like the characters of popular game The Angry Birds.
